Need recommendation for a skimmer for 120g tank
I need it to fit easily into a 40gallon sump. If anyone could recommend something that would give me the best bang for my buck I'd greatly appreciate it!
Thanks!

40 gal is 18" wide, same as my 75 gal. I used a Octopus Extreme 200 for my 120 gal setup. Might use the Octopus SRO 2000 with the Bubble Blaster if I was starting over today. You did not say if you had baffles already installed, but either of these will fit a 18" wide tank.

I'm going to be setting up the baffles so it shouldn't be a factor.

MSX-200 is an outstanding bang for the buck.

Agreed, the bb3000 is wicked. I actually sold my msx200 awhile back and went larger for the new 225G system and the new skimmer uses a bb5000. The 3000 + msx200 or octo 200 is an awesome setup for a 120.
