carbonate hardness???
my carbonate hardness is at 10 dkh.According to the test booklet it is too high.The booklet says it should be reading between 5-7 dkh.I dont even know what carbonate hardness is.So my question is Am I in trouble?

Carbonic hardness (alkalinity) should range between 7.5 and 11.0 DKH (8-10 is better) so you are fine.

yup 10 is fine, where did you read 5 was ok? what booklet?

According to what I know and read, it should be from 8-12 dkh. To check ALK.DKH, I suggest using Salifret, it is more precise.
