It looks like apista, but not sure

Sorry for the lack of pics, but these things are small. I picked up a frag the other day and last night i noticed what looks like a group of apista sticking out of a hole at one end. There are about 10-12 of them in a round grouping in the hole (the area is only about 1/4 inch) They are brown and retract if messed with, and it looks like they retract into little brown tubes but its hard to tell.

Is there anything that look like apista but arn't? i would rather not superglue over these guys if they are harmless filter feeders.

Thank-you

You may have feather dusters, but it sounds like a type of colonial hydroid to me. Aipstasia does not make tubes. Google colonial hydroids and see if you get a match.

If you do have these guys, I have heard they are a pain to get rid of if they take hold. I just let my tank be and they died off on their own
