minimum tank size?
i was on another reef forum and someone had posted a link to a list of all the minimum tank sizes for all the tangs, and nobody else on the forum would take the list seriously saying it was all based on the opinion of people on this forum? is there anywhere where there is a solid list of tank sizes for reef fish?

You mean this list (one of the stickies in this forum)?
If so, yes, it's opinion, but we happen to have one of the most experienced opinion-bases on the internet (no offense to whatever forum you were on that thinks they know better). Kevin

thanks guys for the replies, they just seem to think there are no rules in this hobby that you can pretty much do waht you want, which is true but its not for the good of the fish

I think tangs are best in 120's. A good rule is 1 ich of fish for every 10 gallons of water..

Unfortunately alot of folks are selfish when it comes to the fish they keep. If they were truly thinking about the long term health of the fish they would never put these large tangs in their small tanks.
If you ever ask them about it, the usual response is that they know what they are doing and you need to mind your own business. I still feel compelled to tell them to think about the fishes needs instead of their needs.

I may have been wrong , as the nox isnt that big. If you only have 2 fish then u should be fine but if u add other less aggressive fish u will have problems with other fish picking at them.
