How does this sound to buy:
Aqua C Remora Nano protein skimmer with pump for $90

and Do u think it would be able to fit in a nano cube?

if you have 12" from the tank rim to the bottom, you can hang a regular aqua c remora. the regular remora will skim better than a nano remora. prices for skimmers have come down since a couple years ago, so you can get much better skimmers now than the remora for the same price.

i ran the same thing ,bought it done ...the guy notched the output of the remora to fit over the baffle versus what you said and it worked great .

I figured it out. I'll wait a couple of months and build a sump for it. I'll run the skimmer on the weekends when the lights r off with the hood open.

Any ideas on a 10-20 gallon sump while still keeping the hood on?

One reason the BioCube is so popular is no sump or skimmer to worry about. Why does everyone seem to want to add them.

3 reasons for me:
1) Added volume
2) Was thinking on adding a small fuge in it.. I want a mandarin
3) Some guy got me to buy a skimmer off him and he told me the wrong type of skimmer so i almost need a sump so i can use the skimmer

*Bump*
Can you have a hob overflow on the nano with just a cut out of the back of the hood?
