Need help quick!!!

Ok so I wanted to do a water change so I added all my containers of RO water and added the salt, let everything mix up for about 6 hours....all was good until I added the water to the display tank.

The display is super cloudy like it's never been before. Stupid me just realized that one of the containers of RO water was the same container used for my top off and probably had a crap load of Kalkwasser in it.

Did I just kill off my whole tank? What can I do? It was about 10 gallons in a 150 gallons of water tank.

Any advice would be greaty appreciated.
Thanks!

watch ur alkalinity and cal. hight cal wont kill anything right away but high alk will. i would check levels and if cal is between 400-600 range and alk is 6-11 range you would be fine. my biggest concern is ur PH. kalk is high in ph, make sure ur ph is with in 7.8-8.4 range.
if not i would start doing 25% water change everyday till u get it all back to normal.
remove fish and corals to QT if ranges are off.

Just opened 2 new seifert ALK tests and had my girlfriend do one. Both tests came back now showing 15.3 KH ....that was after 10 gallon water change. I'll make more RO and do another water change.

Is 15.3 super bad? The tank is still super cloudy. I'm only running a carbon filter pad.

Tested again with the API kit and KH is about 13. PH is still 8.0

So is it safe to say that my PH and ALK are ok...and the cloudyness is mostly excess calcium? Is this the same effect as when people describe the cloudyness of their tank when they add purple up...Excess Calcium

yes at this rate u will put ur stock in shock. u r in high end acceptable range now.
i wouldnt do no more water changes to day. do 25% everyday to bring parameters back to normal range. you dont wanna drop or increase any parameter too fast. also during water changes watch ur temp of tank freshly made saltwater. u need to be in same range of temp as tank on ur new water. cloudyness will settle over time just worry about ph and alk at this time along with temp of both waters need to be consistant.

If anyone else ever has a similiar problem...I found the site below. Needless to say, I've labled all my containers with either RO only, Kalk-Top OFF, and Saltwater. Thanks for the help.
