Moving a Tank: Keep the Sand?
I have moved 3 tanks over the years, but only across town. I have always reused the sand with no real issues. In the past moves, I have always kept the livestock in the temp location for a few days while the sand settles, etc... Now, I have to move my 30 cube 6 hrs from the tank's current location. Will this make any difference? Should i use new sand? I have heard that you should not reuse the sand. Any other tips for moving (the tank is already broken down and livestock in containers waiting to be moved)?

I have always re-used my sand, just rinse it out until it's clean, it becomes live again very shortly thereafter.
