Panoramic Pro lighting

Hey everyone. I am planning on moving my Torch coral, my bulb anemone and some random zo's into a 40 gal breeder tank, and then turn my 75 into a fowlr tank. I was wondering everyone's opinion on the new Panoramic Pro LED modules. Could I use two of the single strip modules to light the 40 gal breeder tank and be able to support the above listed life? To supplement will be two already purchased Ecoxotic stunner strips as well.

Thanks!
Ryan

I have a ton of issues with my regular ecoxotic panoramas, the LEDs keep burning out. For my last three I sent back for warranty replacement, I asked for the panorama pros instead. They should arrive tomorrow and ill put them to the test. I also have the ai sol super blue fixtures, so I can compare them. I'll post and let you know what I think.

Please excuse any odd, out of place, or misspelled words. This message was sent from Droid.

I have been using a Panorama PRO module for about a month with no problem. A month isn't long enough to really tell but it has been great. I have also been using the EcoPico LEDs for about 4 months with no issues.

I would say you will need more than 2 modules and 2 stunners for a 40 breeder. I would think at least 4 modules for coverage.

Thanks for the replies guys. I was hoping that since the breeder tank is so much shallower than usual tanks, that the two modules would be enough for the anemone and torch coral. :/

You wont have enough coverage. No way two modules can cover a 36x18 footprint. I have one over my 16x16 footprint and need a second.

If you can wait, I would get the new Panorama PRO fixture. The 24" will come with 5 modules and is $499. That will cover a 36" tank in my opinion.

Yea that would be awesome, but $499 is definitely not in my budget at the moment.

Be careful with cheap T5 fixtures. Plan another $100 for some good bulbs.

Yea, I will be getting ATI bulbs. I will probably get another catalina aquarium t5ho fixture. I've had success with their 48" quad fixture on my 75.

I think some time in October or early November. I am really hoping that Ecoxotic will be at the MWRF with the fixture.

Deepseadan "I have a ton of issues with my regular ecoxotic panoramas, the LEDs keep burning out"

Same thing a fellow hobbyist told me with his ecoxotic panoramas.
