Braincoral hitch-hiker ID
Purchased this brain coral a couple days ago from the LFS. Noticed a white/off-white area on the skeleton when I purchased, but though it was just discoloration. Placed the coral in QT and when I inspected it the next morning found arms extending from the it. Is this xenia? Arms/polyps will fully retract into base if disturbed and I believe each arms has a tip/star with 8 points. I have already cut whatever it is off the brain coral and attached it to a separate frag plug. Just wondering excatly what it is and whether to keep it or get rid of it.
