eshopps cone 150 overflowing
I have the Eshopps cone 150 in a 20 gallon tank/sump. No matter how I adjust the flow, it's overflowing by quite a lot. As far as I can see there's only the one adjustment tube- am I missing something?
thanks, Zach |

Yup..
#1 - Raise it to the correct water level. Should be about 7" of standing water for most skimmers. #2 - Clear the venturi air intake. #3 - Open the waste gate or water outlet from the skimmer 100% #4 - adjust the water outlet of the skimmer so that the fine bubbles break right below the neck.. or 1/2 way into the neck. and if you just added a new skimmer sock.. Remove it.. .Soak it in Boiling Hot water. rinse it back out in RODI water THEN put it in. .. DO THIS EVERY TIME YOU CHANGE SOCKS OR GET A NEW ONE. |

Thanks Asonitez, I will give that a shot.
With the Eshopps cone though I only see the one way out. Boy the instructions that came with this thing are terrible! Zach |
