Need an ID please
So I've been trying to figure what this is that is growing in my sump and fuge. Seems to only grow in low lit places. Any help would be much appreciated and if you know what this is, is it something I should worry about? Thank you!

Looks to be some sort of sponge. It's not uncommon for them to grow in shady parts of our tanks.

Yes, it's sponges. My son had the same type growing in the back compartments of his AIO 5.5 gallon tank.
