Thanks for the reply and glad to hear its growing fast. I received a 1.5" black/scopas tang hybrid last Friday that I plan to pair down the road with the 3.25" I got last September.

Looking forward to your pictures.

I couldn't get a pic that conveyed a sense of size...

I did take a short video though:

The firefish at about 35 seconds are full grown.

The little one is still in the acclimation box and probably be ready to come out this weekend. Its very difficult to get a good pic in the box so I will work on getting some better one this weekend. She is slightly smaller than the suction cup on the acclimation box.

Nice looking fish! She'll grow fast I'm sure.

I was a little worried about mine being so small, in with larger angels and tangs... but she definitely held her own.

After getting tail whipped the first day she has settled in nicely. She swims around the entire tank but the flow may be a bit too strong for her where the powerhead aims toward.

Not sure about "in season" but I've been see seeing a steady supply from PIA. Late last Fall was the best price I've seen and price have been steadily gone up. A reefer in Cali is selling a 4 or 4.5" one $350 but for local pick up. If I local I would have pick that one up.

NYAquatics has one too.

I would certainly pick up a 4" one for $350. Not $6-700+.
