Sediment filter truned orange

back in first week of march I replaced my filters in my RO/DI. Sediment, carbon and Resin. Tonight while making water my filter turned orange. I am still getting 0 tds. This is the second time this has happened and both times I was using BRS products. Not saying there product is bad probably the oppisite it means its working. My question is should I change it out or let it keep rocking? Its only a month old. Sp probably been less than 150g ran through it so far. 15g a week for water change and then top off water

the town i used to live in used cast iron pipes to deliver city water(suppossed to be the best way) and my prefilters used to turn orange. i would open the canister up every few weeks once it got some good color to look how far the color made it through the filter. once it got 2/3 of the way thru my pressure would start to drop and i knew it was time to replace it. my current well has almost 0 iron in it so my filter bairly changes color so i only watch the pressure gauge

This problem just started this past winter. I changed it like in Dec and then it was orange by Feb. Maybe it is a added junk to the water at this time and will soon work its way out. Until then I ordered a few sediment filters to have on hand. They are cheap at BRS and I don't want my other filters to start going out quick. But, the main this is they are doing there JOB!

I have rusty/sediment filled water. My prefilters turn orange too. No problems. That means they are doing their job. Plus, if you are making water when they blast out the fire hydrants you will get a huge increase in sediments.

Same here. My sediment filter turns orange after a few days i replace it. Perfectly normal. After about 3-4 months i change out my sediment cartridge. They are cheap enough and i buy them 3 at a time.
