First 48:Case of the missing Angelfish
Hey there, Hi there, Ho there!
So about 2 weeks ago I added a Dwarf Pygmy angelfish, the size of a nickel, to my reef.I haven't seen any signs that it's even still alive. Now granted there are some sweet spots to hide for a fish of his size, but I just don't think it's in there anymore, my thoughts are it either hitched a ride down the overflow, into the sump, and got eaten by the skimmer.Another thought I had is that maybe it jumped, but I haven't seen any bodies lying around. My last thought that had, is that my 3ft Zebra Moray Eel may have eaten it, but I highly doubt it. Any ideas, that may add some hope to my situation? |

I have lost and then found yellowhead jawfish for 4 weeks and a mandarin for 3 months, so maybe there is hope.

check behind rocks, I added a pygmy angel to my tank and after a week it dissapeared. found him wedged behind some rocks dead, looked everywhere and couldnt find it until i moved some stuff around.
good chance your eel ate it if it died or wedged itself... i mean, if i was an eel and I saw a fish wedged soemwhere i'd munch on him haha |
