Skimmer gone nuts

I have an Aquamaxx HOB-1 that has been working great. Last tuesday, my tank was leaking and I had to trade it out for a new tank. This necessitated re-doing the aquascape. I used some epoxy and super glue gel. Ever since switching tanks, my protein skimmer has been going crazy. Overflows in about 30 seconds. I am sort of used to it acting up when things get changed around, but usually it's just for a few hours. This has been going on for 4 days!

To try to deal with it, I changed my charcoal and filter pads. I also have purigen which I didn't change as it is pretty new. I completely took apart and cleaned the skimmer. I cleaned all my pumps and whatnot. None of this has helped. Would a partial water change help? Kind of lost as to what to try next.

Fresh carbon and water changes, it is the epoxy that is causing it.

+1 If you can put a hose at the bottom of the collection cup and just let the skimmer keep overflowing into a bucket it will clean itself out.Just keep adding clean saltwater.

Timely!

I just epoxied 6 coral plugs in my tank and my hob-1 is doing the same thing.

I'll add some extra carbon, and leave the skimmer off for awhile.
