HELP Setting Up Refugium-5 Pics

Me again! I'm going to wear out my welcome!

We are trying to set up our refugium for our 90 gallon tank & since we weren't going to set this tank up originally, we didn't ask any questions. Our 120 gal will have the Dialyseas but he gave us ALL of his stuff from his many years in the hobby so we decided to set up the 90.

Back when we had our saltwater tank, we had a simple wet/dry system w/a submersible pump & built in protein skimmer. Now we have this w/the external pumps, etc. Can anyone help with which line goes to the main pump and which line goes to the protein skimmer? Pics or diagram would sure be helpful. I searched but got tired (& distracted!). Thanks!

Thanks!

Humm I dont think it is going to clean out that hot tub very well... Just kidding...

Pic three looks like the return on the right feed on the left to keep the bottom moving and prevent anything from settling.

Just IMO

Hey Worm!

Well, if all else fails we'll just get into the hot tub & drink beer!

I'm confused by the return on the right feed on the left. Can you explain? Sorry!

Here's a pic of more stuff we got. Lesson learned...don't take on somebody's years' worth of stuff that hasn't been running FOREVER. It's too hard to try to recreate something you haven't seen up & running! It was all thrown in with the Dialyseas machine, but still!

Susan

WOW.... A lot of legos..

IMO.. with out seeing a diagram... the flow should go down to the bottom and let tme bubbles build up... BUT then again... did you get a pump with it? One that will aerate/bubble it? That should prob be higher than the rest.. and the flow out the bottom.. that way bubbles will float up and hopefully less bubbly water out the bottom.

Any manual or anything?
