i d on thing living in my live rock

hi i have braught some live rock with some mushrooms on and have noticed i have a lodger and not sure what it is have uploaded some pics to a album but cant figure out how to put them on post it is just under the 2 red mushrooms at the top of the rock its sandy coloured so really had to see but if you can some help would be appreciated will try and get some more pics but it shots down its little hole very quickly when we get to close thanks andy

Might want to try and get a closer image with camera in macro mode?

Hey Andy

not just my eyes then as Meisel1 cannot see it either

you say it shoots down a hole when you approach the tank
is it a hole or does it shoot down a thin tube?

can you try and describe what you saw?
did it seem to be a bug? try googling Amphipod ? see if you recognise it?
did it seem to be a bunch or crown of feathers, that rapidly retracted as you got close?

running out of ideas now
so come back with a bit more detail on what you saw, and someone may be able to offer a good educated guess based on that
