weird named corals/polyps

nuclear death, incredible hulk, captain america, radioactive dragon eye, tinkerbell, green bay packer, what is up with these names???? what other group of animals has so many pop-culture names

what's your favorite, most off the wall named corals or polyps?

Favorite off the wall name? None.

Just a way to jack up the price of zoas, acans, etc.

My personal favorites are LE and Rare attached to the front of the bubble gum names.

I personally hate the dumb names, but it does help you to get exactly what you want, when that's what you are looking for.

I've heard that it's surprisingly easy to cross-breed corals. Most of the time it happens by chance in peoples tanks causing some interesting coloration - and names.
