Foam Rock Wall!

Hi everyone,
I started a foam rock wall project for the 125. I,m kinda impulsive when it comes to the reef and i,m never really satisfied with the look of it. I know this project has been done by 1000's of people a 1000 different ways but, I found one look that seemed to fit what i wanted to do very well. It can be found here on reef central http://web2.reefcentral.com/forums/s....php?t=1437901. Ill be uploading pics of everything as
i get them loaded.

Ok, so here's some starting pics. this "egg crate" is actually a light deflector bought at home depot isle 43 if i'm not mistaken...
the egg crate sheet says it is 2x4 but it is actually short of that... I don't remember the exact measurements but it was not 24" x 48"

I cut the egg crate into three parts. Two 17" panels and one 9", I cut the 9" down to 7 1/2"

I bought some dry rock and dead coral, thank you BSL!. I also picked up some masonry drill bits, and some zip ties.

It's always a good idea to wear steel toe boots when working with those heavy power tools.

And yes, as you can tell I used four pieces of fake rock. I was against this but, the fake rocks had great shape...

This is the layout I'm going with. I am still in limbo rather or not I want to cover the over flows.
