Feather dusters
Since tapatalk has no search function and I have no other way to search the web, I'm just wondering, what are the requirements to keep a feather duster healthy for a long term? I have a 40g breeder macro tank that I over feed to the Max to produce superior algal growth. Let me know, thanks

feather duster are filter feeders and depend on plankton as food. require medium current and ok water quality. i think it will be ok in ur setup.

That's what I though, do they actually need plankton in the water column? I don't ever add plankton. Do they feed on pods?

I've had good luck with dusters and I don't do anything special for them. I just feed my fish and other corals as normal and they get enough from the water to keep growing.
The biggest problem I have is pistol shimp burying them GRRRR

I've never done anything and had them live for quite a long time.
I really don't think they require special care other than good water parameters. |
