Hermit crabs?

I have HOB fuge with just rubble rocks to populate pods, can I put hermit crabs in it and few snails? thanks

Hermits are omnivores and will eat the pods. Snails will be fine.

hermits may go after the snails if there is not enough food available especially in close quarters such as a HOB refugium
