Reef safe usually means they won't eat your coral.

I have a 6 line that has been with 2 cleaner shrimps, assorted hermits, etc. for almost 3 years now. They are generally reef and invertebrate safe, but they will go rogue when their natural food population, live pods and live critters (like worms and brittle stars), get low in the tank.
