Question on Maxspect R420R (RAZOR) LED

I am in the process of upgrading my tank---slowly removing bioballs (nitrate issue) and converting sump to a fuge and adding LR to the display.

Currently my tank (125 g, 72X18X24) is fowlr, (coris wrasse, blue tang, zebra eel)but would like to add macroalgae, mushrooms, some soft coral perhaps, but all low to moderate light corals. I have a lot of sponge growth that I really like.

I like the Maxspect R420R because it appears to have a broad spectrum of color, and the macroalgae will need more red. I have heard that led lighting can be too intense, but it looks like I could run the leds on this model at a lower intensity. I will not be including SPS, so no need to upgrade later.

One question is, does this mean I can simply lower the intensity and avoid too much light for the sponge and mushrooms? If so, at what % would I be best to start out with?

Two, am I analyzing this correctly in terms of use of this light for a variety of inhabitants?

In my process of upgrading, I see I have a lot of catching up to do in terms of the new lighting options now available (currently use HO fluorescent and T5s) so I am looking for input from others with experience.

Thanks!
