cycle question
I just set a new bank tank at my moms house for her. I bought her live sand and live rick that was already cured. And the water was from my ro/di system. She had everything set up on Wednesday
I checked it yesterday for nitrate nitrites and ammonia and so signs of anything. Think the tank will do much of a cycle. Going to wait a week or two and check again. Thanks y'all |

It may not cycle at all if you have fresh live rock. Many people report either a very small or no NH4 spike in situations like yours. I'd keep following for a few weeks to see. If you only check every 2 weeks, you very well may miss the spike, too.
