Moving tank questions

im moving in a week or so and I have about a 15 minute drive to my new place from where I am now, I have minimal rock scape but it's difficult to set it up due to the rocks are very strange shaped, I was wondering if I could drain the water from the tank and keep the rocks inside until I get it to my new place and fill it back up? it will take about 30 to 40 minutes total, also would it be ok to leave a few inches of water in the tank to cover the sand bed? thanks

You could but even the slightest wrong move can make a rock drop and it might crack your tank. Also, that things gonna be heavy as heck.

If you have a spare tank or a spare container I would add everything into that container and then take your time to do it properly.

If you have new SW IN the NEW LOCATION mixed HEATED and ready, you will be fine... 30min is no problem

Take the sand out and put in a trash can with a little water to transport and take the rock and put it in a storage bin with a little water and move everything and set back up
