Need a Blenny ID
Was at my lfs yesterday and saw this little guy swimming around in a tank of live rock. I've been hunting for a blenny for awhile and decided to ask what species and how much it cost as it wasn't listed on the tank.
Turns out the staff were puzzled that there even was a blenny in that tank and suspect it hitched hiked on some live rock that they had put in that tank recently. Under the lights they suspected it was some sort of linear blenny but weren't sure. As for the cost, the lfs owner just told me to pay what i'd pay for a small bit of live rock and count the blenny like a hitch hiker. Score! Took a photo this morning of him in the qt tank and looks different than yesterday. Any ideas on what he is? |
