Will my ai sols cover this area?
Just picked up a new tank:150 gallon rimless starfire cadlights. Dimensions are 60x30deepx20tall. Will three ai sol blues give me enough coverage? What would you do?

A lot depends on what type of tank you plan on having LPS, fish only, mixed reef, or all sps corals. In general though I had AI sol super blues on my 7 x 2 x 31" tank 6 of them It was over kill. I know use 3 Hydras 52's. For a mixed tank the three should cove fine as long as you remember to keep the higher light corals towards the top and the lower light corals towards the bottom.

Like MB said, it really depends on what you intend to keep in your tank.

It all depends on your aquascape I have a 48x30x14 sps tank but I don't use all the 30" of depth so all I have to cover is 16-22" of width for my sps the rest is for swimming room and aesthetics
If wanted to you could plan your scaping/coral placement to your light spread |
