Sorry for the poor photo quality. Definitely not what I wanted to hear. Is there a good/best way to get it out?

That's not a polyp...that's a bad anemone.

If I am not wrong, a filefish can eat all of your mojano's and aiptasia. Sometimes they eat corals tho.

You might want to try cutting the anemone as close to the base as you can with some scissors, then use some epoxy to smother any remaining tissue. GL.

I aggressively injected lemon juice into mine and they all died.

It will retract after being messed w/ and if irritated will send a slew off babies into your tank. Hard to tell but looks more like Aptasia to me... either will be a problem and in the middle of a zoa colony I would suggst to note where it is, remove rock and using a insulin syringe or a syringe like from Red Sea testing equipment inkect the hole in the rock where it lives a couple of times w/ boiling hot lemon juice. Then rinse in salt water and replace to tank. Those zoas will be fine. May have a whole in the colony but the zoas will close it up in no tiome. Best to always work out of the tank when you can.

Have to agree with majano id. Red Sea Aptasia-x worked on mine.
