Caulerpa without light for 3 days ok?

I am about to do a lights-out period of 3 days to battle cyano bacteria. Will caulerpa be ok for this period of time? I just took out a bunch of it (cut back over half), but there is still quite a bit of it left.

obviously my concern is it going asexual, not fear that it will die.
