Proflex vs Eshopps

Just purchased a aqueon 180g mega flow aquarium and I'm debating on what kind of refugium to purchase

the 2 choices are the proflex model 4 or the eshopps R-300.

I like the proflex due to the fact it has the built in bubble trap, but hate the fact its on backorder till (who knows when per aqueon)

The eshopps is nice but seems so simple for the price. Almost seems like a kid threw the pieces together and put a eshopps sticker on it.

Anybody have any advice on these refugiums or any other ones on the market.

Thanks!

When I first started out I went with the aqueon proflex 4. In fact I am still using it. In the beginning I liked it but have learned to hate it. Go with something else and save your self the headaches. I am currently in the process of getting a sump custom built.
Things I hate about the pro flex 4:
Where hoses connect acrylic is thin is warping and i get salt creep all over the place.
The middle compartment is to high and my aqueon stand too low which makes it pretty much useless.
I have to put my skimmer in the last compartment which is fine but remember you also have to place heaters and pumps things get crowded fast. Also the last compartment is the one that flactuates so if you don't have an ATO be ready for a skimmer that won't perform well.
Also the acrylic overall is thin as it can get.

I like the trigger systems elite sumps. I'm running a couple and the build quality is really nice. Maybe a crystal elite 36 would work well in your situation.

I have the R200 in my 140 and it works fine, no complaints. I have never had any bubble issues.
