Need to raise Magnesium levels NOW
I have lots of magnesium sulfate but very little magnesium chloride. What solution can I make from these to raise my magnesium levels? will 5 parts sulfite to 1 chloride work? or am i better off raising it with just sulfate? Just need an answer to the question, not looking to discuss my current tank levels. No corals are in danger
Thanks Last edited by Zacktosterone; 09/17/2014 at 08:24 PM. |

While you'll get responses here I'd highly recommend you post your question in the Chemistry forum and then do a search of the forum for 'raising magnesium' or something similar.
It's a common question and that forum has a number of very knowledgable chemists that will reply and help you. Just my 2C worth. |

Post there and leave a note here asking a mod to remove this thread would be the proper etiquette.
