Zoa's releasing?

Today I noticed that my big colony of eagle eye Zoa's started to release a milky white substance. And closed up. I saw some kind of " critter " moving through it. It was way to fast to get a good look at it. Looked like a tiny slug but moved at the speed of light. Any ideas?

don't know of the possible critter without a photo id. Zoas probably let out their toxic. So next time you have to put your hands in the tank I would put some gloves on.

I'm sure it was toxin! I was watching tv when I saw the zoo's release the toxin. Walked over and saw something moving through the colony. Poked it with a stick and it hailed *** into the live rock. Way to fast to get a photo. Are fireworms fast or sluggish? And I just noticed that there is three white small egg sacks under the zoa colony.

Can't answer the fireworm question, don't have experience with none. Are you able to get the zoas out the tank? If so, I would recommend dipping them maybe in Coral Rx or Bayer solution.

In the process of getting the dip ready. The litter critter flew back into the live rock. Will sip kill any eggs?
