there bad because they spread like weeds and they can kill and sting your corals. besides that i think there cute

you can buy stuff that kills them at your lps or online. or your staight kalk. also if you only have them on a few rocks and have plenty of rock left in your tank. take the rock out kill it. either just it or the whole rock

How should I go about getting them out? And youre right about the weeds part I bought a rock with some mushrooms on it and there was only one now in about a month or so there has been five more that started to grown

yes i am sure that they are a pest. sure they will over take your tank if you dont stop them. they wont go away on there own. this i am sure

Best solution is too remove the rock and sterilize it if possible. And quick before it starts to colonize the rest of the tank and it starts looking like a LFS display.

Get a syringe and put an airline tube on it.
Fill it all with boiling water. Blast the aiptasia 4 or 5 times with the boiling water and then pull back on the syringe and suck it up. Done.

I bought aptasia x online. It works like a charm. I started out with 20 plus. Haven't had any for about two months.

Depending on your tank size and inhabitants you could get an aptasia eating filefish.
