Picking compatible corals

That's my tank, it's 6 gallons. I'm looking for some more corals that I can add in there safely without having to worry about them stinging each other. I currently only have some zoas, and a Kenya tree. I really like zoas but I'm looking for something different than just that.

That tank is way to small for three fish. All those fish will get aggressive. But too answer your question you could try xenia, mushrooms, and gsp..

I thought that when I bought them but the man selling them to me swore up and down that since I bought them as juveniles and put them in the tank together at the same time I wouldn't have problems. They've been in there for about 5 months now with no problems. We do have 4 much larger tanks I can send one or two away to if they do start to fight. Thank you for your advice anyway though.

It's all about trial & error IME.. If your in it for the long haul, just try things... Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't... A place for everything and everything in it's place... Blah blah, blah...

Right, just didn't want to go sinking money into a new coral that would be almost guaranteed not to survive due to a tank mate.

If there's ALREADY a tank mate, U made the wrong decision by putting it so close... The corals are just being corals...

The man selling them will tell you anything to make the sale. You really need to rehome those fish. All three of them, that tank is way too small. If you wish to keep them go get a bigger tank at the next Petco $ per gallon sale.

At 6 gallons, that tank is too small for even one of those fish. Whoever told you differently was just trying to make a sale without regard to the fishes well being or your wallet. Perhaps a small goby/shrimp combo would be better suited to that size tank.

As for corals - sorta depends on your lighting, but I would suggest zoanthids, mushrooms, and perhaps a kenya tree or similar soft coral. Stony corals of any type will be problematic due to their need for clean, stable water conditions, not something often found in a tank that small.

Well after a talk with my dad he agreed to let me upgrade my tank to the 40gal when petco has their next sale. Any idea how to find out when that is?
