Bio pellet reactor

Hi Guys

I have a 100 gallon tank and my first fish I bought had velvet or ich and ended up having to go fallow for 80 days. Now that I have 3 fish in my system ive started to feed more than what I was when my tank was fallow and literally within 2 weeks of putting fish I ended up getting cyano. My nitrates have been steady at 2pm and still are and phosphates have been 0. I run gfo and have been since day one but im wondering if should add a bio pellet reactor to help with nitrates? anyone else use them? What kind of results do you get?

Cyano is normal, and should he expected. The only way to combat it naturally is via water changes and not over feeding.

Keep a dedicated schedule of weekly or biweekly water changes. I do 5% on Wednesday, and 10% on Saturday.

I don't run gfo, only carbon. I have a lawnmower blenny, 3 Mexican turbo snails, and 8 scarlet hermits. They keep it nice and clean.
