Just bought Aquaillumination Vegas... intensity question + weird high pitched humming

Long story short, I finally upgraded my power compacts to Aquaillumination Vegas. I got a helluva deal from an aquarium owner with the classic mounting rails and director.

I'm terrified of hurting my coral from intensity. I took it off the already set schedule from aquarium owner and put it to 45% intensity on all colors with some normalized settings. That's what AI said would be a good place to start. They sit about 7 inches above water level.

I have some purple mushrooms closer to top of my tank. Will they need moved with this new light?

And lastly, my child Vega unit is making this horrible high pitch humming noise that is just faint enough to drive anyone crazy. It is not the fan. I found a YouTube video of the exact same sound on a Vega unit shown here --- https://youtu.be/kLVgj9oJDjU

Any help is appreciated across the board.. I don't want to burn out or bleach my corals. Is 45% intensity on all colors too much to start with?

Going to assume this for the whine https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coil_noise. It is possible to quiet them down a bit with a dab of silicon if that is the problem
