For my 320 gallon, I bought an MRC Orca Pro II with washdown and a Fluval Sea SP4 return pump.

I am helping set up this tank for my friend but most likely going to be a fish only tank, I don't think he will get into corals.
I did look into the Flu value Sea SP4. What kind of heater are you running on your 320 gal Hippiesmell?

Take a look at the Simplicity skimmers. Very well built and good quality. Very powerful and won't break the bank IMO.

royal exclusiv's bubble kings are always nice. you could go for a BK 250 deluxe, depending on the load and other filtration (biopellets, vodka)

for return pump, I also like their red dragon series.

of course, this depends on your budget...

Hippiesmell how many returns do you have on your tank, do you think Sp4 is strong enough? My friends has 2 returns so when I did the calculations Sp6 would work better.

I have two returns but I use a rollermat, so I can only push 600 gph. Either way, I think the sp4 is enough. The sp6 is a big pump, but you could dial it back, if needed.

LS90gal,

If you want to go old school, I have a perfectly operating Deltec AP900 skimmer that I recently shut down from my 300g system.
It's a big skimmer that utilized two Eheim needle wheel pumps and ran externally. Originally bought for over $2k, will sell for $500. Also will take down a Reef Octopus Water Blaster-10000, pump can be run internal or external - $150
Skimmer is cleaned and dry, pump needs to be removed and cleaned up.
Equipment is in CT.

Not sure you can beat that. Deltec has been the best skimmers I've ever ran. I've ran a ton of different ones including Bubbleking.

NP, I'll take a pic in the next day or two.
It's a very big skimmer, hence the external application.
