I added some more sand to the display last week to help offset the diatom out break with the fine sand. The new sand seems to have worked on the diatoms. I know it seems backwards from what makes logical sense, but the fine sand seemed to be like rocket fuel to the diatoms in the light. the new sand has blocked the light from reaching the fine sand and now the diatoms are gone. No other updates. The only thing added in the last two weeks was a toad stool frag that is doing good. I will leave with a current FTS after the new power heads and one my wife took we me napping on the couch with my youngest son next to the tank. Hope everyone has a great weekend and happy reefing.

Next time you buy pumps try the jabao wavemakers. They are very reasonable for the functionality they have. People say they are not good but I have had no issues and have spares if I needed to change one out.
