2 Gallon Reef

I’m wanting to build a 2 gallon tank for pulsing Xenia or some other low maintenance hardy softie. Is this possible? I understand that it will be nearly impossible to keep a “stable” tank at this size but I need something small for my office. I have an abundance of pulsing Xenia and I enjoy the movement.

DJ. I can't think why you would not be able to achieve reasonable stability with proper maintenance. If you can bump up to 3 gallons this is a nice little office tank at a great price at BRS. https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/3-gal...m-mr-aqua.html

keep us posted. would love to see the progress.

yeah, you can do almost any size with minimal 'maintenance'. but you're the one that has to define 'maintenance'.
i use vases. round cylinder vases provide the best views.
no impeller pumps needed, possibly a heater. par 30 is enough light.

I would love one myself. I’d kill to have a pulsing Xenia in a ‘safe space’.

Agreed! I need to get it out of my main tank before it spreads.
