how safe is AQUAMAX Sulphur denitrator
after all my fish died last year due to a clogging aquaripure denitrator , i now bought an Aquamax sulphur denitrartor TS-2 .
how can i make sure that its not producing sulphates or some other sulphur product as i couldnt find any testing kits for sulphur . also has anyone used it ? i was told to let it drip "outside the sump" for 4 weeks before putting the output water in sump . in 4 weeks my 90 gallon saltwater tank water will all be replaced so this doesnt look right. please advise dont want to loose all my fish again. |

This is used to remove nitrates from the water. Why you should cycle outside the tank??
Read the directions.

That's what the direction says , I also talked to Marine Depot folks and they advised me the same , saying that during first 4 weeks it can produce toxic material.
That's why i am eager to hear from someone who has one or have used one . |
