32inch Exotic marine overflow on 35 inch tank - coast to coast be OK?

32inch Exotic marine overflow on 35 inch tank - coast to coast be OK?

I like the external overflow design and the exotic marine option is cool.

Anyone see any issues with this option?
This will leave 43mm on either side for the return.
Ideally I want a drilled return on either side but that may not be possible.

Thanks

Seems like WAY more overflow than needed for that size tank. Is this on the end of a peninsula tank?

No - this is on the back end.
I like the idea of as much surface area skimming as possible like the coast to coast over flow. 300l tank - why will this not work?

It's good! One of the best reasons for coast to coast overflows is that it eliminates the biofilm on the water surface, that impedes gas exchange. Even if you can't go coast to coast, the wider the better.
