Ive got several "spikes" about 3-5mm tall, some coraline covered, some white. The bases look a little like a drop of thick glue, and seem to be reddish in color. The animal (spike)is singular. It feeds by releasing a slime string and catching its food. If ita a tube worm, it never extends from its tube
Any help is appreciated Thanks ------------------ hesaias My Homepage |

ditto on what horge says... i've got a bunch of these guys...if you look really closely you will see two little tentacles sticking out of the tube from time to time..this is the snail... they dont do any harm, they are just filter feeding with their "slime trail"
