I used stainless ones I found through a boat store real cheap on mine. My one canopy is over a yr old and they have no rust at all. I used them for the canopy construction, mounting reflectors and clips for the wiring and they are all still looking new.
My cheaper so called stainless hinges and screws(came as a set) are another story that I bought through Home Depot. They all have rust on them already

You will probably have better luck in the Lowes stores. Around here the stainless screws are in slide out drawers in the isle with other hardware. Its usually located in the aisles near the paint sections. If you look for the big steel display cases with slide out drawers they are in there with all the odds and ends and specialty fasteners.

Thanks for the advice, bought some stainless screws from Lowe's. Also got a set of long stainless hinges from them too.

Deck screws work very well as they are coated too.
