Let me get this straight
Red bugs are only on Acropora or do they move to other corals as well? What is the best method to getting rid of them in a fully stocked reef?

Only on Acropora.
If you removed your Acropora to another tank [holding tank] for a week - you would have no more red bugs, as you would have no more `host' [food]. Most have used the Interceptor treatment for ridding them, which would always be wisest in a holding tank like mentioned above - though many have treated the whole tank.
