Elegance Coral. Does anyone have any experience?

I have read almost of the threads on elegance corals and have also read about the difficulty in keeping them. I am eyeing one at the LFS. It's a lime green and looks healthy. Has anyone had any success in keeping them? the owner of the shop was telling me that the reason why EC haven't lasted long in the reef aquarium is because most lfs sell deep water EC and we've been keeping them in shallow tanks and feeding them as if they were collected in shallow waters.

From what I understand no one knows why elegance corals have been so difficult to maintain in reef tanks. Although his explanation sounds plausible there's no proof either way yet.

The only long term and healthy elegance I've seen was under multiple no lights though. The owner recently upgraded that tank to t5's and the elegance is still doing great.

I just bought an elegance and was told to handle it only with rubber gloves on because they are prone to infection and also to make sure no other corals touch it. It is thriving under my T5 lighting but it is still way too early (about 2 weeks) to tell.
