Bunches of green-looking eggs on it's underbelly ?
Mine are the same - I only have two, and both seem to get pregnant ![]() I believe the chances of actually seeing the fry through to maturity are zero unless you put the shrimps in a seperate tank. Otherwise, they'll be eaten by fish or sucked into the filters... |

It's really hard to raise their babies because they're in a planktonic larval stage for 90-120 days. Usually within that timeframe, the babies are either eaten by corals, killed by pumps, or skimmed out. Breeding them isn't impossible, but it's impossibly hard. If you do searches on the web, you'll find articles, but it's no easy task. I think that's why some ppl decide to go skimmerless because you won't skim out the planktonic life in your tank. I've only met 1 person who ever had a baby morph into a shrimp...only 1 person..and 1 shrimp.

They should spawn about every two months or a little sooner. I have never tried to raise the babies but they have plenty of them. The eggs will hatch all by themselves with no midwife.
