sumps and skimmers

I am creating a 75 gallon reef tank and everyone i ask a question gives me a different answer. A.. Should i leave my skimmer on the back pack or put it in my sump/refugium. B. Are gobi fish and urchen bad for a reef tank? If you can answer these please E- mail me at Krisaday2006@hotmail.com thank you for any help

If you build your sump make provisions for your skimmer there if you know what skimmer you going to use you can design you sump to maintain the skimmers optimal water level and make your life a whole lot easier not having to constantly adjust your skimmer!!
