seatest , is my broken
I did a phosphate test with ro water everything went fine. I tried it with my tank water and it was perfect but there were dark blue crystals on the bottom of the test thing, however the water in it wsa totaly clear. What is the deal? i bout it from marine depo and I shook it up alot.

It could be that one of your other test chemicals got stuck to a syringe or the like and got into the solution. It happened to me the other day, and I've done a lot of labs---Salifert assured me in that case (my magnesium test) that a few crystals wouldn't hurt. Rinse out with saltwater and re-run it. If a few crystals turn up again, something else is wrong.

You know i had the same problem with that test kit. The only thing i found which hurt my arm ( lol from shaking it so hard) is shake it till there is no crystals in it. NO matter what it takes . Thats just my opinion and u maybe be fine with some left in the bottom.
