Best way to clean MH bulbs?

I am trying to clean my MH bulbs and can't seem to get the water stains off. I tried using Windex but that didn't do much so I am just using a wet rag. Any suggestions?

I would use vinegar maybe if its salt spray, and to make sure I got all the oils from my fingers off, finish with a wipe down with acetone (nail polish remover!). Just make sure you give it a few min to dry before firing it up.
