Unhappy New salt mix now my skimmer don't skim

I am trying to narrow down the problem with my protein skimmer (Seaclone 150). I changed two things with my tank about the time it stopped skimming. I started to dose kassewasser and I switch to a different salt mix because the LFS owner said he had better result with that brand. I stopped dosing with kassewasser acouple of weeks ago but I still not getting any skimming action. I also tore the skimmer apart and clean it good. This weekend I plan to switch to my orginal salt mix.

My question for the RC crew is:
Have you ever had a problem where your skimmer just stopped skimming?
If so what was the source of the problem?

In my experience, one thing a SeaClone does extremely well is not skim. IMHO, upgrade to a better skimmer.

Your skimmer is the problem. Extremely bad design. The seaclone action is more of a sales "wow" type gimmic than anything. A better skimmer will pull tons more gunk out of your water than a swirling tube of water with a few bubbles in it.

I read about how a lot of people don't like the Seaclone on the RC. I have had good sucess until now. Also it did slow down in skimming it just stopped. Water flow and air flow is still the same as before this problem. This lead me to think that it is water chemistry.
